Apricot is basically a project that I've been planning for the longest time to work on, but haven't gotten to -also in other words- pick up on. This manga/comic started a long time ago, but due to endless writers block and not being able to develope a definite style, I kept having to rewrite and redraw everything. >_<;; It's seriously a pain!
The reason why I restarted this project is not only to continue my love for drawing, but to share a little something to the world. : D I've read so much manga books done my various mangakas -a fair amount of online mangas/comics as well, to cherish the details and hardwork they've all put into their art and storyline. I want to give something back: Inspiration to others, and if not, then at least provide some entertainment for your amusement. XD
I find myself often looking back to things in life that made me who I am, and by putting them on paper, express myself. But there are always going to be things that I've never experienced before, yet to experience, or would never want to experience... but that's what makes characters in stories so great! : D You get to build their personality, their differences and similarities, as well as play with their lives? >_>;; Well, it's just the more fun on my part for that. >: D
The name "Apricot" used to be "Spice"... I would have loved to have kept that name for it, but since I found out it was taken, I stuck with a fruit name. XD;; There really isn't a good reason why I chose this as a title, I just like apricots, they taste good. : )
